Membership Scholarship Opportunities with Foresters Life Insurance

Foresters is not your typical life insurance company, with foresters you have added benefits when you become one of their members of their over 1 million. They offer an array of complimentary benefits including Grants and scholarships, family events, well-being benefits and community and volunteering opportunities.

I came across a story of an orphan that benefited from her father’s decision to purchase a Foresters life insurance policy, she is now an orphan but even after her lump sum benefit from the life insurance policy she is still a part of the foresters family. She is receiving what they call an orphan scholarship. The Scholarship benefit provides the children of deceased members with a renewable scholarship of up to $6,000 per year for up to four years.

Aside from the orphan scholarship Foresters also offer scholarships to individuals for higher learning to up to 250 individuals with a heavy weighting on volunteerism for acceptance into the program. Eligible students of any age with a minimum GPA of 2.8 or 70% may apply. Those accepted may receive up to $11,000 each.

Scholarships are just one of the many benefits of being a part Foresters heritage as a fraternal benefit society.

Foresters may not come up on top when searching for life insurance comparison quotes but with these opportunities for scholarships’ and other benefits, Foresters may be worth second look. These scholarships’ may help to ease the financial burden when sending your children off to further their education.
